Fa la la la Follow Friday...

http://parajunkee.com/

Good morning and I hope this finds your Christmas Eve to be Merry and bright. I am taking a break from knitting flowers and crocheting little wreaths to bid you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Follow Friday.

Question of the week:
What are you going to do on this wonderful holiday? Did you make any special projects this year for your family? I myself have learned to make wreaths and holly.

I am going to my knitting teacher's house for a wonderful dinner. In preparation, my husband and I will be making a Chocolate Blackout Cake, a tossed salad and a corn souffle.

Well, off to get a bit of sleep before I am due back at the bookstore.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Good evening fellow crafters and book lovers. It is Follow Friday and I have found a great blog that totally fits the holiday season. Snowcatcher has a great selection of snowflakes that make me want to get my hook and start learning! Great job on an awesome blog.

Please leave a comment with the name of your blog, so fellow crafters can find you. If you do book reviews, please leave your name on the linky with Parajunkee above. Just click the link and it will take you to her site. It is primarily fiction and paranormal, but if you are a book reviewer, you can enter the linky.

Question of the week:
Is there an author that you think is really great that you feel is under appreciated? Who and why? I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment and share some love. Even better...become a follower.

Crochet wreaths.

This time of year us my favorite for making small homemade gifts to share. These crochet wreaths I learned in knitting class are perfect.

Chain 4-10, depending on how large you want the wreath pin to be. Slip stitch to join and make double or triple crochets all the way around the chain, going through the center hole. Pull and space your stitches. When you get to the end, slip stitch to join, tuck in your yarn tails, add bows, beads and hot glue a pin back onto it. Done! Only takes a few minutes and you have a heartwarming gift to share with a friend.

Merry Christmas everyone!

New knitting book.

I love Christmas parties where you do gift exchanges on a theme. Thus year, my knitting class/group had a wonderful holiday party and I got a great book on circular knitting. What a perfect gift. With all the different patterns and knowledge about circular knitting, I was thrilled.
